Meet My Family

Updated: Nov 15, 2025

I am a proud wife and mother, and my family is the heart of everything I do. My husband, Brian, is the Hartsel Fire Chief, and we have lived in Hartsel, Colorado, since 2018 with our youngest son, Maxwell. Max graduated from Buena Vista High School in 2025 and immediately began his career in wildland firefighting with Platte Canyon Fire. Our oldest daughter, Ashley, lives in Kansas, where she is growing her photography career while also attending college for Neuroscience. Our middle child, Jaelyn, also lives in Kansas and is advancing her career as the Sales Manager at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott. Michael, our son-in-law, has proudly served in the United States military for twelve years and currently holds the rank of Sergeant First Class. Ashley and Michael co-parent our beautiful grandson, Rhett—and being grandparents is truly one of the greatest joys of our lives. We were also blessed to help raise a young man, James, during the last three years of his high school career. He graduated from Buena Vista High School and now proudly serves our country in the United States military.

Although the times we get to spend together as a full family are few and far between, we cherish every moment. We raised our children on camping trips in Park County, long road adventures with our camper, and practical life lessons—from hunting to changing their own oil—everything we hoped would help them grow into strong, capable adults. My family and my faith are my foundation, my strength, and my purpose.

Gather
Around the Campfire

DSC09826.jpg
Tyrene has always loved sitting around the campfire since she was a little girl. Many of her fondest memories were born in that warm circle of light, where stories drifted into the night air and laughter wrapped everyone like a blanket. She’s always believed that real conversations happen around a fire—the kind that are honest, heartfelt, and unhurried. There’s a certain magic in watching the flames dance and feeling people draw closer, not just physically but emotionally. Around a campfire, genuine happens. Friendship happens. And that spirit is exactly why Campfire Chronicles was born.
