A Night of Christmas Magic at the Hartsel Community Center

The Hartsel Community Center truly came alive this Christmas season, and what a beautiful sight it was to see.

The Community Center hosted a wonderful Christmas party for Hartsel residents and those from surrounding areas, and the evening was filled with fun, love, laughter, and togetherness. More than 25 children showed up for a visit with Santa Claus and received gifts, with even more adults joining in on the festivities. The building echoed with joy, conversation, and the kind of warmth that only comes from a close-knit community gathering.

For many of us, this night felt like a powerful confirmation of just how much Hartsel needed its Community Center back after the long quiet stretch following COVID. Seeing families reconnect, children laughing, and neighbors visiting reminded us that this space is so much more than a building—it’s the heart of our town.

Brian and Tyrene also had the chance to get their picture taken with Santa, and it must be said—he was the perfect Santa Claus. From his cheerful presence to the smiles he brought to every child, he helped make the night truly magical.

A huge thank you goes out to Tiger Mike Photography for donating his time, professional equipment, and on-site printer to make this night even more special. Families could immediately walk away with printed photos of Santa, creating keepsakes that will be cherished for years to come. That generosity made a lasting impact on so many smiles.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who helped organize, volunteer, decorate, and attend. Events like this remind us why community matters and why keeping spaces like the Hartsel Community Center active and thriving is so important.

Here’s to many more nights of shared joy, celebration, and connection in the years to come.

Gather
Around the Campfire

Tyrene has always loved sitting around the campfire since she was a little girl. Many of her fondest memories were born in that warm circle of light, where stories drifted into the night air and laughter wrapped everyone like a blanket. She’s always believed that real conversations happen around a fire—the kind that are honest, heartfelt, and unhurried. There’s a certain magic in watching the flames dance and feeling people draw closer, not just physically but emotionally. Around a campfire, genuine happens. Friendship happens. And that spirit is exactly why Campfire Chronicles was born.
